For the past three years, Microsoft has comcentrated on software market
and monopolized operating system of computer.
However, the growth of tablet PC market led by Apple's iPad and Google's Nexus,
and PC market's decline made MS feel that it needs to make its own device.
So, Microsoft decided to enter tablet market.
As a result, MS released Windows 8 and MS Surface together in October.
The MS Surface is Microsoft's first attempt at a general-purpose computer.
It was very shocking, because we has regarded MS as a company which produces
only software like Windows and MS Office Programs.
Contrary to expectations, however, the sales in the beginning are too low.
According to some experts, major causes of this situation are that MS entered tablet market too late and Surface's price is too high.
